Creeping bent grass is a native of Europe and parts of Asia. It is a cool season grass requiring cool, humid environments. This grass forms a dense mat by creeping stolons and has a shallow root system and has long slender leaves. |

| DIVOT REPAIR If your shot causes a divot to be dislodged from the fairway (or really, anywhere on the course), walk over, pick it up and put it back into the spot from which it came and lightly step on it to help it to grow back. Everyone who plays golf in that spot after you will be very grateful. |
